RUSH served as Design/Build Contractor of the Health First PET/CT Medical Group Cancer Center. The most challenging and rewarding part of this project focused on the design-build construction delivery method along with a very aggressive schedule that minimized the facility’s downtime. The design-build approach gave RUSH the ability to put together a select group of subcontractors, working in conjunction with the owner. This approach allowed for the facility to be back up and running in 6 weeks, rather than the usual 3 months required in a typical setting.
